Luminaires & cie. invites you to shop at our store or browse our website without having to provide any personal information whatsoever.

SHOPPING AT LUMINAIRES & CIE
In order to better serve you and create a customer account, we only ask for your name and phone number when you pay for your purchases at our store. We collect this information to administer our loss prevention program and help us identify and prevent fraud. However, if you do not want to provide this information, it will be essential to keep your receipt and visit the store for any after-sales service. If you use a credit or debit card to pay for your purchases, we only collect information related to that card. For a credit card, we also ask for a signature (in-store only) if your card is not equipped with a chip. If you do business with our website www.lampe.ca, we may collect your billing and delivery address, phone number, and email address.
Returns and exchanges in store: if you provided us with your name and phone number during your purchase, we will already be able to trace your customer account, and we don't need additional information. For credit card refunds, we ask you to provide us with the same card used for the purchase. For security reasons, Luminaires & cie. does not refund directly to debit cards. If you paid for your purchases using a debit card, we'll be happy to refund you on a credit card, in cash, or with a gift card.
Communication: by signing up for our mailing list to receive our newsletter or other promotional communications by email, we only collect your email address. You can then add your first name, last name, and postal code to receive more personalized messages. We will only contact you if you wish. Website registration: if you wish to save your cart for your next visit, you will need to create an account on our website. To do this, we collect your email address (which will serve as your username), your first and last name. If you wish to make a purchase online, we ask you to add to this information your delivery address, billing address (if different), and phone number. Here are some tips that could help you have a better online shopping experience:
When using a public computer, make sure to close your session: you never know who will use the computer after you and some users may be malicious.
Create a password that only you will know: use a password of at least eight characters, favouring a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols. Don't use simple passwords that people would easily find such as your name, your favourite pet's name, your email address, etc. Remember that anyone who knows your password can access your information.

CHILDREN UNDER 13
Our website does not contain explicit content, so we authorize browsing for all ages. However, children under 13 are not authorized to make purchases or create a profile that requires providing personal information.
